Eli Davis - Won Hae

Picture

Won Hae (Eli Davis) is a dharma teacher in the Furnace Mountain Sangha, frequently practicing with the Cincinnati Zen Center in his hometown.

As the story is told to him, he was first brought to Furnace Mountain at the age of two, when his seated mediation practice more closely resembled rolling across the middle of the dharma hall floor and periodically shouting.

Since then, his practice has evolved to be less disruptive to his peers, even while the mind continues its animated somersaulting.

He is grateful to have a practice and a sangha so able and willing to hold this unruly child.
