Registration process for in-person retreats & retreat fees

To participate in a retreat, please request an application form via email or fill out our online application form. Once your application has been accepted, you will receive a notification and invitation to make a donation using either

After receiving your payment we will send you a confirmation email and further instruction on what to bring to retreat and how to get to Furnace Mountain Zen Center.
Because of the pandemic we did reduce our number of available retreat spaces. Most in-person retreats now have a waiting list. If you have to cancel due to illness we will try to find another person to take your place, so please let us know as soon as possible. We will refund your retreat donation (see cancellation policy) or have your donation count towards a future retreat.
Cancellations made within 7 days before your retreat cannot be refunded.
Cancellations made within 14 days before your retreat will receive a 50% refund.

Partial retreat scholarships are available for those in need, usually in exchange for help before and during retreat.
*If you plan to sit the entire three-months retreat and need financial assistance, please reach out.
Please note: Dana for the Zen Teachers and Tenzo's are not included in any of the fees.
It is tradition to give Dana at the end of retreat as a sign of gratitude for receiving the dharma and being taken care of during retreat.
Please give generously and according to your means, as neither the Zen Master nor the resident teachers and tenzo's get any compensation for their efforts.
Retreat fees cover room and board and the Powell County tourism tax.
Day long/Beginner retreats are non residential, the fee is $45.00 - tea and coffee included. Please bring your own bagged lunch.
