Erica McLuckie - Kosen, Soen Sa

Erica Kosen McLuckie has been a student of Zen Master Dae Gak since the mid 1990s, having first met him at an 'introduction to zen' workshop at the Queensland Zen Centre in Brisbane, Australia. 

On moving to England 1997, Kosen and her husband Soen Wol established the Bristol Zen Centre, and Kosen received Inka from Zen Master Dae Gak in 2005.
From 2006 to 2011, Kosen and Soen Wol were resident at Furnace Mountain, and Kosen had the great privilege of teaching  at the Lee Adjustment Centre medium security prison in Beattyville Ky, alongside Hae Wol and sangha member Jack McDowell.

​Kosen has been living in Australia since 2011, and during this time has practiced with Zen Master Senshin and the Queensland Zen Centre sangha. 

​Kosen is an enthusiastic member of the Furnace Mountain Maha Sangha, and appreciates the opportunity to experience sangha across time zones offered by FM's online program.
